Yogyakarta, (12/06) The Covid-19 pandemic that never ends even though it has entered the middle of 2021 is not an obstacle for someone to continue working. On the other hand, Covid-19 has become a new idea for creative makeup lovers. In addition to working through the face, makeup can also convey the message of the creation. Therefore, the EL Beauty Event Organizer held a Beauty Talk and MakeUp Competition which consisted of a national level makeup competition with the theme Covid-19 and an online talk about beauty with one of the content creators who is known to be very creative because of her makeup creations, Nia Ingrid. The beauty talk with the theme "Capture Your Moment With MakeUp Creation" is expected to be able to be creative and spill creativity by painting on the face. EL Beauty Event Organizer was formed from the Event Management course taught by Mrs. Rr. Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma, S.A.B., M.Sc. The national level makeup competition was attended by 12 finalists from 8 provinces, namely the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Central Java, West Java, East Java, Banten, East Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, and Central Sulawesi. The provisions for the competition are that makeup is the result of one's own work, the results of which are uploaded via Instagram and the makeup process is uploaded via Google Drive with the theme Covid-19. The participants competed for the winners and prizes with details: 1st place of Rp. 700,000 + e-certificate, 2nd place of Rp. 500,000 + e-certificate, and 3rd place of Rp. 300,000 + e-certificate. While the winner of the 1st place, the 2nd hope and the 3rd winner will get a goodie bag + e-certificate. For the timeline for registration of contestants, it will be held from 23-29 May 2021 and then extended to 2 June 2021. Meanwhile, beauty talk registration will be held from 23 May 2021 to 2 June 2021. Then a technical meeting will be held on 2 June 2021 and participants will collect their works. on 1-3 June 2021. The judging will be held on 8-9 June 2021 by three judges, namely Mrs. Elok Novita, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Lecturer of Cosmetology at Yogyakarta State University), Mrs. Eni Juniastuti, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Lecturer of Cosmetology, Yogyakarta State University) and Mrs. Revina Anggun Sari, S.Pd., M.Pd. (MakeUp Artist Freelancer).

The highlight of the event was a Beauty Talk and Makeup competition with the theme "Capture Your Moment With Makeup Creation". This activity will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 09.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB through the ZOOM Meeting platform and broadcast live on the feunyofficial Youtube channel. This talkshow activity was guided by two Masters of Ceremony, namely Rasyida Ammara Shena and Putri Desti Anawati, and moderator by "Cedar Aisyah Sukma". At the beauty talk event, moderator Cedar and resource person Nia Ingrid talked about the world of makeup creation. Many enthusiastic participants asked questions and shared their personal experiences in the world of makeup. Selected participants with interesting experiences will receive door prizes in the form of goodie bags. Then the event was continued by a makeup demo by Nia Ingrid who also brought the theme of covid-19. At the end of the event, EL Beauty Organizer announced the winners of the makeup competition. 1st place was won by Meilisa Italin Hutasoit with a total score of 261, 2nd place was won by Ellen Sintia Wati with a total score of 254, and 3rd place was won by Aghnia Shafa Az Zahra with a total score of 233. The 1st place winner was won by Enike Febriani with a total score of 226 , the second runner-up was won by Alya Fadilah with a total score of 225, and the third-place winner with a total score of 223 was won by Mufti Handayani from UNY. After all the winners of the makeup competition were presented by the jury representatives, Mrs. Eni Juniastuti, S.Pd., M.Pd. and the supervisor Ms. Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma, S.A.B., M.Sc. then ended a series of Beauty Talk and MakeUp Competition events at 14.00 WIB which ended with a closing and a documentation session in the form of a group photo.
