Wates (9/12) Fortary event organizer is a form of Event Organizer from D3 Secretary 2016 students in the event organizer course with lecturer Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma, M.Si has successfully held an event titled public speaking. The event was named “SECRETIK” (Solidarity of Secretary in Kulon Progo). SECRETIK aims to accommodate the interests and talents of students, students and the general public in developing public speaking skills. SECRETIK consists of several series of events, namely Grooming and Public Speaking workshops, grooming and public speaking competitions, video competitions, yelling competitions, and the closing event, Secretik Night Concert. The activity was held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the UNY Academic Services Building, Wates Campus.

The Grooming and Public Speaking workshop was opened by Dina Faizah as the head of the SECRETIK 2018 orphanage and was attended by 200 participants from college students, students, and the public. The theme of the workshop is "Be Passion, show your quality through public speaking," by presenting 3 speakers. The first and second speakers discussed fashion and grooming, namely Indra Gunawan who is a trainer for grooming and public speaking competitions and also a teacher from SMK N 1 Pandak Bantul. Meanwhile, the second speaker who is also an alumni of the D3 Secretariat of UNY and the 2018 West Java Education Princess is Nura Azizah Zahra. The main speaker, Risma Kusumanendra, discussed public speaking skills. Risma Kusumanendra is a public speaking trainer for Cristal Indonesia Management and is very experienced in his field. The enthusiasm of the participants was very visible when the participants followed the directions from the first and second speakers and it was even more exciting when doing public speaking practices led by the main speakers.

After the workshop was over, the event continued with competitions, namely grooming and public speaking competitions and yelling competitions. All contest themes are about "Stop Hoax." The theme was taken with the aim of reducing and preventing the creation and dissemination of hoax content in Indonesia considering the many bad effects that will occur if hoax news is still rampant. The grooming and public speaking competition was attended by 14 participants from UNY, UGM, Gadjah Mada University, UNS, UTY, Citra Semesta Indonesia Health Vocational School, Muhammadiyah 1 Wates Vocational School, and N 1 Pengasih Vocational School. Starting with the make-up assessment, followed by a parade of all the contestants on the catwalk for the grooming assessment, and the last one is the public speaking assessment. The winners of the grooming and public speaking competition consist of 5 categories, namely 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, best speaker, and best performance. Best speaker was won by Risqi Cahyani from SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Wates, best performance by Riski Setiadi from Gunadarma University Jakarta, 3rd place winner was Eviga Utami Avianti from UGM, 2nd place went to Odilia Herlita Puspa Dewi, and 1st place was won by Muhammad Rais Munix both from majors Administrative Education, Faculty of Economics, UNY. Winners receive coaching money, trophies/medals, and certificates submitted by Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma as the lecturer in charge of the event organizer course.

The next competition was a yelling competition which was participated by 3 teams from Citra Semesta Indonesia Health Vocational School, SMK N 2 Pengasih, and SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman. The competition is held on the GLA (Academic Service Building) yard of UNY. This competition raised the same theme, namely “Stop Hoax” and attracted special attention because the participants brought unique attributes and displayed solid team cohesiveness. The winner of this competition was from SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman represented by teachers from SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman. The prizes were handed over by Dina Faizah as the chairman of the committee.

The third competition is a video competition. This competition has 3 choices of sub-themes, namely stop hoaxes, stop cyber bullying, and peace campaigns. Participants came from well-known schools and campuses in Indonesia, namely from UNY, UTY, Trunojoyo Madura University, PGRI Madiun University, Yogyakarta MMTC High School, Bali State Polytechnic, Serang Raya University, Airlangga University, Tidar University, Riau University, Gunung Jati Swadaya University , Jakarta State Polytechnic, Hasanudin University, Mutiara Baru Vocational School, MAN 2 Ponorogo, SMK N 7 Yogyakarta, SMA N 1 Banyumas, SMA N 1 Semapura, and SMA N 1 Semapura. The video content created by the participants was very interesting and featured a variety of video capture techniques. announcement of the video competition that will get 5 categories, namely jury favorite 1, jury favorite 2, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winner. by Universitas Airlangga, 3rd place from Jakarta State Polytechnic, 2nd place won by the host UNY, and 1st place won by Yogyarta "MMTC" High School. The winners received coaching money, medals/cups and certificates submitted by Mr. Wahyu Risdiyanto, MM., as the jury's representative from the video competition.

Secretik Night Concert is the closing event for the event organizer course, as well as awards night for winners of competitions, and concerts featuring local DIY talents. The closing event was held in the GLA yard of UNY Wates Campus from 19.30 to 23.00 WIB and succeeded in capturing the attention of students from the UNY Wates campus. The uniqueness of this event is that this event is the closing event of the event organizer after 3 events from 4 groups of event organizers D3 Secretariat of UNY 2016 and video screenings of all event organizers were carried out. The SECRETIK series of events closed with a poetry performance by Satulana, a stand up comedy performance, and DIY local bands such as Hi-Volt, New ThreeJell, Friendly Band, and guest star, FIESKA. There are bazaar booths around the location and the event was fun and interesting. (nov/cs)
