Yogyakarta, Sunday (9/9), students of the Department of Administrative Education, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University, again won the 2018 Indonesian Office Science Festival (GIPSI) competition organized by Yogyakarta State University (UNY). This year, UNY hosted the GIPSI event and managed to become the overall champion again in the competition.

Bandung, Wednesday (1/8), Teguh Wicaksono and Odilia Herlita Puspa Dewi, 2014 and 2016 ADP students, won the International Competition on Students Competencies in Office Management in the series of events The 1st International Events on Office Management, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand organized by the Indonesian Education University.
Department of Administrative Education UNY successfully won 2nd and 3rd place in the Secretary Day competition which was held at ASMI Santa Maria on May 12, 2018 in commemoration of International Secretary Day. The Secretary Day competency was attended by SMA and University from office and secretarial study programs in the province of Yogyakarta.

SMK N 1 Cilacap and SMA N 1 Kroya visited the Faculty of Economics (FE) UNY at separate times some time ago. SMK N 1 Cilacap which brings students of Office Administration skills to practice in the Laboratory of FE UNY, especially in the Department of Office Administration Education. Now professional workers are required to be able to understand the latest equipment used by the business world. Curriculum to educational facilities must be addressed so that the expectations of graduates who are technology literate can be fulfilled.
The trend of study visits from schools has shifted. If in the past most schools only visited tourist attractions to unwind students, now more and more are adding educational and industrial places to their list of visits. This is also the case at UNY, including the Faculty of Economics (FE), which has increasingly received visits from various schools in recent years.
DFD or December Fantastic Day is an event organizer formed from an event management course. This DFD raises a cultural theme by fostering an appreciative spirit of the community through the performance of Javanese traditional culture, namely kethoprak. Kethoprak is a traditional Javanese art that is increasingly being abandoned.
D3 Secretariat batch 2015 held the Jogja Special Snack Festival with the theme "Jagongane Snacks Jogja". This activity aims to introduce typical snacks from 4 districts and 1 city consisting of Gunung Kidul, Bantul, Sleman, Kulon Progo, and Yogyakarta.
