Again, Teguh has an achievement in English Public Speaking
Teguh Wicaksono from the FE UNY Office Administration Education study program again won the "PIRATES Competition 2019" event organized by the Semarang Shipping Science Polytechnic on Sunday (3/11). This event consists of several competitions, namely Speech, Story Telling and Debate. In the event, Teguh again won the achievement as the 1st Runner up speech contest winner. In the speech competition which was attended by Teguh, 25 participants from various universities throughout Indonesia participated, the speech competition was divided into two rounds, namely the Preliminary Round and Final Round, in the preliminary round the best 5 participants were taken to advance to the final round and Teguh succeeded. advanced to the final round with second place out of the 25 participants, in the preliminary round Teguh delivered a Speech entitled Future Work Skills For Millennials to Face Industry 4.0, then during the final round all finalists were required to deliver an impromptu speech given time to make material for 30 minutes of preparation with a theme that has been determined by the committee, and on that occasion all participants were given a theme about Your Contribution to Face Indonesia 2045, and on this occasion Teguh delivered a speech entitled The Role of Millennials to Develop the Digital Economy in Indonesia in 2045. - each participant serves each of his speeches, then a question and answer session was held related to the theme presented. The final round was over and it was time for the announcement and Teguh Wicaksono was named the 2nd winner in the speech contest. 1st place was obtained by Degi Rajuandi from AKPOL Semarang and 3rd place was Fatkhur Rozaq from POLINES Semarang. With this achievement, Teguh hopes to further improve his English and public speaking skills which are very useful for his future. (Cs/Tg)
