Yogyakarta, (6/12) – The Virtual UMKM Expo was held by Revorma Event Organizer for one day, namely on Sunday, December 6, 2020. This UMKM exhibition event took place virtually using the Zoom Meeting platform and live on the Youtube channel of Revorma Event Organizer because held during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Virtual UMKM Expo event takes place from 09.00 WIB - 14.30 WIB. This event is an event held as an assignment for the Event Organizer course for Office Administration D3 students, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University with the lecturer Rr Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma, S.A.B., M.Sc. The Virtual MSME Expo event was attended by 21 MSMEs in Indonesia, 23 Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University, and 170 Expo participants from various regions throughout Indonesia.

The Virtual MSME Expo was held as a form of committee support for Indonesia's economic development, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. The Virtual MSME Expo has the theme "Realizing Great Changes in the Indonesian Economy with Excellent MSMEs". With this theme, it is hoped that this event will be able to encourage changes in the Indonesian economy for the better and pay more attention to the potential of MSMEs in Indonesia. Various types of MSMEs in Indonesia, ranging from MSMEs in the culinary, handicraft, and fashion fields, presented their products in front of the Expo participants virtually through the Zoom Meeting platform.

In addition to the UMKM Expo, The Virtual UMKM Expo was enlivened by performances from Farrell Hilal who is a talented musician in Indonesia and Stand-up Comedy from Yogyakarta State University. The appearance of the two guest stars was able to give a happy and festive atmosphere at The Virtual UMKM Expo. Farrell Hilal himself is a musician from Jakarta who has collaborated with well-known artists in Indonesia such as Ardhito Pramono, Nadin Amiza, Kunto Aji, and so on. His slick voice and extraordinary band playing were able to anesthetize the entire zoom meeting screen at this event.

"According to the theme, which is realizing major changes in the Indonesian economy with Superior MSMEs, it is hoped that after this event MSMEs in Kulon Progo and throughout Indonesia can continue to grow and attract the interest of the Indonesian people. An event like this is very good to be held because it can introduce various MSMEs that may have never been exposed to anywhere else. Continued success for Indonesian MSMEs."
