The rapid development of technology demands adaptation from all areas of life, including education. Now professional workers are required to be able to understand the latest equipment used by the business world. Curriculum to educational facilities must be addressed so that the expectations of graduates who are technology literate can be fulfilled. Students certainly hope to get an education that will provide them with sufficient provisions to face the industrial world in the field. This was conveyed by Rojali as the Principal of SMA N 1 Tarumajaya Bekasi Regency during his school visit along with 200 students to the Faculty of Economics (FE) UNY, last Monday (23/1).

Rojali hopes that this visit can increase the number of graduates who continue their studies. “In the last two years, more than 30% have continued their studies, but maybe none of them have been at UNY yet. Hopefully, from this visit, some will be accepted,” he continued, which was accompanied by an amen from all the students. In addition to the visit of SMA N 1 Tarumajaya, FE UNY also received a group of more than 150 students and teachers of SMK Maarif NU 1 CIlongok Banyumas who visited the Office Administration Education Department on Tuesday (24/1). The group was led by the Chairman of the Expertise Program (kaproah) Paryati. In her speech, Paryati said that this visit was intended so that students could find out various information about the world of lectures.

Secretary of the Department of Office Administration Education FE UNY, Muslikhah Dwi Hartanti said that his department was the last to join FE UNY. “But Alhamdulillah, we have a complete laboratory. In fact, it is often a place to visit and practice various schools. We always try to provide the latest office equipment so that students can have sufficient provisions to enter the professional world,” he explained.

The lecturer who is also known as Tanti continued, the department has an Office Simulation laboratory that can be used to understand students about how to work in a company, especially in administration and correspondence. "In addition, we also have a computer laboratory which is also used for Digital Archiving, where students can understand the latest software and equipment that can be used in electronic archiving," he added.
