Student Thesis Final Project Acceleration Training

Based on the self-evaluation of the Office Administration Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University (P. Adp FE UNY) it is known that the average student study period is still relatively long, which is greater than 4 years. The relatively long study period of students is not always rooted in lack of competence and poor learning processes, but the root of the problem is that some students have backgrounds from families that are economically at the lower middle level, so to maintain college some students have to work part-time. time. One of the impacts of this situation which is quite alarming is that the completion of the thesis final project is hampered and takes a long time.


This is inseparable from the completion of the final project which does require financial support, besides that because the final project is an independent course, guidance, direction and appropriate strategies are needed to complete it, said the Secretary of the Department of P. Adp FE UNY Purwanto, MM, M.Pd. when giving a speech at the Student Thesis Final Project Acceleration Training for P. Adp FE UNY, Sunday (23/3) which was attended by around 109 sixth semester students at the FE UNY Auditorium.
Purwanto continued, this training program is very good because it aims to facilitate the completion of student thesis final assignments, shorten the completion of student thesis final assignments which in turn can speed up student study period and improve the quality of student thesis final assignments. Presenting resource persons lecturers of the Department of Administrative Education FE UNY Joko Kumoro, M.Sc. and Dr. Suranto, M.Pd., M.Si. After participating in the training, students are tasked with submitting a proposed thesis title no later than March 28, 2014.

According to Joko Kumoro, the final project of the thesis is a scientific work that requires high cognitive abilities, minimal analysis, problem-oriented, problems must be solved to find solutions, the form of solutions in the form of suggestions and suggestions must be operational so that they are easy to implement.

Meanwhile, Suranto describes how to research, by starting with taking real/empirical problems.
