Saturday (9/12) Economea Event Organizer held a talk show about professions with the theme Dare To Dream Dare To Catch It which took place at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University, which was attended by 250 participants. “The event started at 08.10 WIB with Master Of Ceremony Dzaki Ardian Saputra and continued with remarks from the chairman of the committee Khurotul Ayun as the chairman of the committee and Chusnu Syarifa as the supervisor. This talkshow was moderated by Yulia as the main moderator and Hendri Wibowo as the assistant moderator,” said Agatha, as the event coordinator.

“The first session of this talk show was attended by academics, namely Dr. Siswanto, M.Pd and followed by Rasman, M. A., Dr. Siswanto, M.Pd who explained about the current world view of education that confuses whether it is important to continue studying and how influential it is in guiding the world of lectures for the future. This first session was also filled by Rasman, M. A as the recipient of the LPDP Birmingham University awardee who explained how to continue studying without being burdened by tuition fees through scholarships because there were many cases of high school graduates who wanted to continue their studies but were constrained by costs or had been in charge of the world of lectures and felt burdened by the high tuition fees.” Agatha added.

“The second session was filled by Drs. Dwi Santosa, who is the Head of the Institutional Development Section for Placement and Job Market at the DIY Manpower and Transmigration Office, was then followed by Sumarni Alisha Aprilia who is an entrepreneur in the field of Batik fashion, 2017 Indonesian Creative Youth Ambassador, Blogger Jogja, and Kompasianer Jogja. Drs. Dwi Santosa describes the current world of work. The next presentation by Sumarni Alisha Aprilia is about how to make a creative idea and then turn that idea into a business opportunity. Then how to manage and develop the business to keep moving and growing.” Rizny as secretary gave further information. “The last session after the question and answer event and the distribution of door prizes was the giving of mementos to the four speakers given by Ms. Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma and Ms. Voettie Wisataone from lecturer representatives. The event was closed by the appearance of the band Diksikustik”. Rizny said.
