Wates (25/11. For the first time in Wates, Kulon Progo, a regional "Dodoalan Jajanan Kekinian with Band And Dance Competition" event was held. The event with a contemporary theme was presented by NW_ORGANIZER, an event formed from event organizer courses from D3 students Secretary of the 2016 batch of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Yogyakarta with lecturer Chusnu Syarifa Diah Kusuma. The event was opened by Bambang Saptono, M. Si as the head of UNY campus management. "Dodolan Snacks Kekinian with Band and Dance Competition is a competition event for contest participants as the beginning of experience, because no one is successful without experience," he said. A total of 7 participants in the dance competition, namely Freakingz Crew dance, Break in dance, Fantastic Dance, Cavaliers Dance Squad, S 1(one), Me-V and D5 dance participated in this competition. 11 participants in the band competition consisting of Prapasca Band, Spektrum Sinatra, Luce Band, B OP, EKS Project, Rushters, Become Sweet, MOG, Kaffein, La ser Skill, New Flash Band enlivened the competition. Participants in the competition did not only come from the province of Yogyakarta, but several cities from Central Java such as Semarang and Purworejo. As for the dance competition, Me V dance won the 2nd place and Freakingz Crew as the 1st place winner. The 2nd place in the Band competition was won by MOG band, while the 1st place was won by New Flash Band from Semarang. Several contemporary food stands that were opened in the area around the competition added to the excitement of the event that was taking place.

In addition, the event was sponsored by JGS (Jogja Guitas Shop), Elita Kerudung and many more. As stated by Kamila Zulfa Bani Artha as the chairman of the committee in her speech she revealed that "The purpose of the event is to increase knowledge in doing business in the present era and explore the abilities of the dance and band contest participants in themselves".

Not only that, Dodolan Jajanan Kekinian with Band and Dance Competiton also presented a special appearance from the Guest Star, namely Agrapana and added 3 other performers, namely Distorsi Paradigma, Daruna Band and Candy Pop. (km/cs)
