The Office Administration Education Student Association (HIMA PADP) and the Al-Fatih Faculty Student Activity Unit (UKMF Al-Fatih) Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University successfully held an Anti-radicalism Webinar on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Strengthening the Pancasila Ideology in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.”. This activity was moderated by Mr. Muhammad Ali Usman from ISAIs Researcher Sunan Kalijaga and Mr. Ken Setiawan, Founder of NII Crisis Center, and moderated by Young Lecturer of Office Administration Education, namely Mr. Suhartanto S.Sos., M.A. The Anti-radicalism Webinar ran smoothly from 08.00-12.00 WIB via Zoom Meeting and broadcast on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNTbuW7dSDs). This activity was attended by 250 participants from various students from all universities in Indonesia, organizational activists, and the general public. This activity is an annual activity that aims to add insight for students and the general public about radicalism in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

As we know, according to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) radicalism has three meanings, namely first, understanding or sect that wants radical change or flow in politics; second, understanding or sect that wants social and political change or reform by violent or drastic means; and third, extreme attitudes in the political stream. The way to prevent radicalism given by the resource person, Mr. Ken Setiawan, is to study religion in a plenary way to the experts, identify the mode of recruitment of radical movements, refuse firmly if you start being invited to covert studies, and be critical even in the context of religion so that it is not easily suggested which is a recruitment start. The material provides positive values ​​for students and also the general public to avoid radicalism. The next generation must be given an understanding of national values ​​and nationalism for the sake of the integrity and upholding of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The committee hopes that by holding this anti-radicalism webinar, we can maintain the ideology of the Indonesian state, namely Pancasila, to maintain integrity and unity.
